This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.
It is best to fill out the registration immediately to ensure that you are approved before the auction begins.
PROVENANCE: From The Estate of David George Glen (1924-2016) of Delaware, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of William and Agnes Glen. His formal education was completed at Daniels Stewarts College, Edinburgh, after which he entered the field of medicine. He was a certified rehabilitation specialist, serving in military and civilian hospitals in the United Kingdom. From 1942 to 1945, he served in the Royal Air Force.
In 1955 David immigrated to the United States, becoming a citizen in 1961.
Chinese Qing Lujun Glazed Porcelain Jar. Finely potted in an ovoid shapped body raised on a slightly concaved foot base with flat opening rim. The surface of the glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise-green ground. With some Inventory Tag labels on base.
