Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, blue & white dragon porcelain lidded wine pot. Potted in wine pot shape, thick, large and tall, baluster body, slight heavy on shoulder, gently toward tall cylindrical neck, with curved spout flanked on the collar, outward at the wide mouth rim, a looped handles giving a balance on the opposite sides, flanked on the upper mouth rim to shoulder, with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, raised with short small round foot base and slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a dark blue color dragon squama to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames and vapors. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
Mark on base, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed withion double square borders, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
