Chinese Ming Dynasty period, Blue & white floral duck meiping jar. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of duck swim on the river surrounded by water plants, flowers blooms above thrashing lishui waves. Geometric pattern decorated on the shoulder and arrays of tropical leaves patterns on the collar. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
