Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, douqing glazed amphora vase. Potted in a amphora shaped vase, large, thick and tall, globular body, slighty oval lower body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent cylindrical neck, two archaic pattern flanked on the shoulder, numerous rings on the shoulder and mid and lower belly, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slight concave. Decorated in Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale-turquoise- pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
