This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, blue & white figurine & landscape porcelain brush pot. Potted in brush pot shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to small straight opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of figurine with the sword on the field bellow dense tree. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks.
