Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Blue & white foliate on stands. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. The exterior and the interior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of abundant interlocking foliage on the surface. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
Mark on base, six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rectangles, Made in The Years of ChengHua Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
