This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.

Chinese Qing Dynasty famille rose porcelain lidded Jar, with dragon motif and cylindrical lid in a yellow-gold color. Sturdy porcelain jar with robust shoulder region curving into a feminine waist that extends all the way to the bottom forming the raised circular base. The baluster jar is capped by a relatively tall bell-shaped lid, in form of a generals helmet. All reserved in a turquoise-blue in a Famille rose design hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground. The exterior is adorned with a domineering serpentine Dragon that is coated in various tone color and fine gilt detailing. interspersed with flaming ruyi clouds covered the belly. Auspicious pattern on the shoulder in a yellow base color and iron-red key fret pattern on the neck. The dome decorated similar with the belly. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed the pale-creme unglazed ground, with the central circle base left white underglaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman.
The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze iron red script characters reign mark, Made of the years Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
