PROVENANCE: From the private collections of Green family, of New York, by inheritance. Estate from ST LAWRENCE ANTIQUES, Riverside DR, Ogdensburg, New York.
Chinese pear porcelain vase, substantial rotund body with rounded shoulders converging into a short neck, with a slightly concave foot base. All the surface of the Yuhuchun vase covered glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise-green ground underglaze. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely exterior, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.
The under-base bears a reign mark, a six embossed seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
