Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Guangxu Famille rose fu bats Ruyi reward vase. The porcelain potted in shape vase, globular body, slightly oval body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall neck, raised on small foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the famille rose design color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of Bajixiang. The exterior decorated with hundred flying fu bat among scrolling ruyi clouds, enclosed with repeating Tao tie mask on the upper mouth lip. The word bat Fu, in Chinese sounds identical to the word for luck which is a pair of homophones implied linguistic symbolism the symbolic meaning of bat is commonly recognized as good fortune in Chinese culture and meaning the five blessings, is a concept that signify a grouping of certain good fortunes and luck in Chinese culture. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design ,and the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a vertical two columns of six underglaze red script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Guangxu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
