Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng hexagonal amphora vase. The porcelain potted in the amphora vase, in a hexagonal body, straight side, tapering gracefully towards a straight high neck, flanked with two ribbon pattern handles on the neck, raised on slightly short a hexagonal flat footwear. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Douqing glaze covered, all reserved in pale green celadon underglaze ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Masterfully covered in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the underglaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
