Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong Longevity Shou sgraffito plate. The porcelain potted in shallow vessel form, with broad wide central interior, rounded cavetto gently tapering to open wide, with straight opening lip, raised with round and concave footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale-turquoise- pale green celadon underglaze ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the underglaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. Meticulous finish sgraffito in inner center with Shou Chinese calligraphy among flying Fu bat, enclosed with auspicious pattern and wanzi motif on the middle. And interlocking key fret decorated on the outer mouth rim. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
