Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain brush washer. With small contracted opening, full shoulder, and oviform belly, globular body, slightly tapering toward flat base, flat top with incurved protruded rim. This type of Zun in the shape of a Buddhist begging bowl. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in creme brown underglaze base color which contrast against the deep brown and red fine color. The exterior adorned with continuous abstract pattern surround the surface. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
Mark on under base, a four underglaze red seal script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
