About the artist: Ukrainian painter.
Yuri Fedorovich Zlyden was born on May 15, 1925 in the village of Zachepilovka, Kharkov region.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. Marked with military awards.
In 1946 he entered the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, which he graduated with honors in 1951. His teachers were: N.S. Pogrebnyak, T.A. Drozdova, M.N. Panin, N.A. Gluhenka.
Sinister Yu.F. - Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.
He worked in the field of easel painting.
Since 1951 - a participant in regional, republican and all-Union art exhibitions.
From 1952 to 1967, the artist lived and worked in Mariupol (previously - the city of Zhdanov), then moved to Kiev.
The paintings of Yu.F. Zlydnya were exhibited in 1976 in Belgium and Germany, in 1978 in Austria, and in 1979, 1980 and 1981 in Japan.
Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in 1958 in Mariupol and in 1985 in Kiev.
The artist’s works are presented in Mariupol, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Ternopol, Ochakov, Kramatorsk art and local history museums, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
