Bronze India, Orissa, 19th century Dimensions: Height 13 cm by 7 cm Weight: 100,5 grams Bronze sculpture possibly depicting a deity or god, seated in lotus position with legs crossed, both hands lifted to the sides holding a round object. The face is smiling and has a broad nose, wearing a pointed crown and attaching to the top of the frame. The deity is seated on an arched surface with decorative pillars on the sides. Additional fan-shaped extensions on the pillars. The top of the frame is decorated with a rounded shield with lines and beads, topped by a seven-pointed ornamental shape.
