Bronze fire-gilt Tibet or China, Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) Dimensions: Height 8 cm Weight: 208,8 grams Jambhala or the God of Wealth seated on a lotus throne with beaded rim. He is holding the jewel-spitting mongoose in his left hand, a pile of jewels already lying to his feet. The other hand is most probably holding a citrus fruit. A large beaded necklace hangs around the shoulders and covers the belly. The deity has a grim expression and wears lots of jewellery and a crown.
