Bronze fire gilt China 18th century, Qing Dynasty Dimensions: Height 10,5 cm by 7,5 cm Weight: 384,6 grams Buddha seated with crossed legs on a double-reverse lotus throne with beaded rim with both his hands folded in his lap in meditative pose. The lower body is dressed in robes with decorative rim. A flowy, thin scarf is draped over the shoulders and is falling down over the arms and emerging in front of the throne. The body is adorned with necklaces, armlets and anklets. The head is comparably small and the face is created very finely, with downcast eyes.
