Dehua kiln blue glaze porcelain China, late Ming to early Qing (circa 1630 - 1650) Dimensions: Height 10 cm by 7 cm Weight: 286 grams The kilns of Dehua are most popular for their white porcelain ware but they also produced underglaze blue ware. Their ware arrived in Europe in the 18th century and was copied by Meissen and others. This example shows a crooked mountain on a rectangular base. The colour is white and blue and fine cracks cover the porcelain.
