John Rayment is recorded in Baillie, G.H. 'Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World' as working in Huntingdon between 1751-95.

Old marks and stains, this appears to have been coloured to simulate mahogany or similar at some point. dirt and discolouration
Chips and losses to some veneers and timber, old splits and cracks, there are some elements of moulding detached but present. The plinth base appears to have been cut down previously and shortened. Some later elements to the cheeks

The clock movement is untested and Dreweatts cannot make any guarantees it is in working order or give any comments as to accuracy of time keeping. We recommend getting the clock appraised and cleaned/overhauled by a professional restorer prior to use.
There are no keys, weights, pendulums, or case keys present - these would need to be sought by the purchaser, the case lock is missing and the vacant hole remains
