A Regency mahogany dressing table, circa 1815, attributed to Gillows, the rectangular top with three quarter gallery and concave section to the front, above an arrangement of five drawers around an arched knee hole, on reeded turned tapering legs, terminating in brass caps and castors, the underside of the central drawer with pencil signature for 'John Myer', 85cm high, 106cm wide, 54cm deep
Condition Report:
Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use.
Old chips, splits and some losses.
The top with an addition larger split to the centre.
Some filler used to the top in places.
The gallery has become detached from the top in places.
Later paper stuck down to the bottoms of the side drawers.
