Description Giovanni Ciappa (Italian, 1768-1826) oil on canvas. Depicts two figures, one of whom is playing an instrument. A signature can be seen in the lower right corner of face. The verso features the artist's name and life span. Dimensions: 15 1/2 inches tall X 11 1/2 inches wide; 39.4 cm tall X 29.2 cm wide, the frame measures 23 1/2 inches tall X 19 3/4 inches wide; 59.7 cm tall X 50.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report A couple of very small spots of touchup top painting; and evidence of repairs to frame.
