Description A collection of 16 Japanese items including a display box with white-and-blue-glazed porcelain chopsticks and rests with koi art. A display box with purple lining including two trays; one tray is gold colored with a red flower, and the other tray is silver colored with the same pattern of flower. Two bamboo plate display stands. A box of five sake cups featuring a lotus design in green, pink, yellow, purple, and blue. Three woodblock carvings painted black with red-painted, carved calligraphy. A lotus-shaped paperweight with a crane in center and calligraphy. Two ceramic sake bottles with five sake cups. An orange, lacquered serving tray with gold and black leaves featuring cherry blossom art the front. A Japanese charger and a Turkish dish both dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The charger features a scene with Mt. Fuji, cranes, and a pine tree. The bottom has a 4-character mark with three flowers around the exterior. The Turkish dish features blue floral patterns and is signed on the reverse. Dimensions: Large sake cup box- 7 3/4 inches square; 19.7 cm square. Sake cups- 1 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches diameter; 3.8 cm tall X 5.7 cm diameter. Charger- 18 1/5 inches diameter X 1 1/2 inches deep; 46.2 cm diameter X 3.8 cm deep. Dish- 11 1/4 inches diameter X 2 inches deep; 28.6 cm diameter X 5.1 cm deep. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report One bamboo stand is missing a support piece. Chefs knife has damage to spine of the blade and collar. Charger has minor glazing imperfections and minor edge flea bites.
