Description A group of Chinese paintings and Japanese prints. Includes: a Chinese pith painting of two males, one seated with a Ruyi, 19th century; a Chinese painting on silk of flowers and a bird; and two Japanese prints of women with signatures and very faint seals. Measurements are: Japanese prints: 15 3/4 inches X 13 inches 40 cm tall X 33 cm wide; Sight area: 9 inches tall X 9 inches wide, 23 cm tall X 23 cm wide. Pith Painting: 15 1/2 inches tall X 10 5/8 inches wide, 39.2 cm tall X 27 cm wide, Sight area: 12 1/4 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 31 cm tall X 19 cm wide. Silk painting: 22 1/2 inches tall X 33 inches wide, 57 cm tall X 83.8 cm wide, Sight area: 12 3/4 inches tall X 22 inches wide, 32.3 cm tall X 55.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report Some foxing on Japanese prints. Pith paintings have tears in paper along edges.
