A chinese gilt bronze buddha statue named jingangsefomu.Made in The Year of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.The Buddha mother has six arms on three sides and three eyes on each side. She wears a five leaf corolla on her head and a bell on her ear. Her main arms are placed in front of her chest. Her body is elegant and exquisite. Smooth and natural grain, full of texture. The lotus petals are stiff and dense, symmetrical up and down, evenly distributed, and extremely rich.
PROVENANCE:
From The Collection of David Garrison (July 18, 1948-) Morehead City, NC. He joined the Air Force in July 1968. He did his basic training in San Antonio, Texas, and then went to technical school at Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois. In 1971, he married the love of his life, Patty Madsen. The family traveled with him as he fulfilled his duties with the Air Force. In 1984, they moved to Bethany beach,?Deleware where he resided for the rest of his life. David obtained an Associate's Degree through the Community College of the Air Force. During his career in the Air Force, he achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He retired from the Air Force in 1993 after 26 years of service. Not one to slow down, he started a new career as a contractor at FAA, then Tinker Air Force Base. His final retirement was in January of 2016.
