About the artist: Born November 4, 1937 in Krasnodar. My father worked as a top-level turner at the Oktyabr plant, and his mother worked as a nurse in the First City Hospital.
After serving in the army in 1958 he entered the Krasnodar Art College, which he graduated in 1963. He worked as a painter, a worker on construction sites. In 1965 he left for Leningrad, where for several years he was a volunteer at the Leningrad State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin at the faculty of painting in the workshop of the People's Artist of the USSR A. Mylnikov.
In 1968 he returned to Krasnodar. He became a participant in a major exhibition of the country with watercolors "Fresh Wind".
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1975.
The first solo exhibition was held in 1982 in Moscow.
He lived most of his life in Krasnodar. He worked in creative dachas - in the Hot Key, the "Academic". I went to Gelendzhik, to my country house in Sochi. Together with Valentin Mordvinov, People's Artist of the RSFSR, traveled to the North, they also traveled to Kabardino-Balkaria.
In 1990, he left for Greece for six years. He worked in Bulgaria (Karlovo, Plovdiv, Sozopol, Varna) and in Cyprus.
He died on December 2, 2006 in Krasnodar.
