About the artist: Ukrainian painter.
Konstantin Alekseevich Krylov was born on April 21 (in the new style on May 4) in 1910 in the village of Strelna (now the Leningrad Region of Russia).
Since 1920, he studied at the studio of the artist V.M. Mihirov in Tomsk.
In 1927, at the competition for the best drawing, dedicated to the Great October Socialist Revolution, received a prize.
From 1927 to 1928 he studied at the printing department of the Omsk Art College.
From 1930 to 1934, Konstantin Krylov continued his studies at the Odessa State Art Institute. Teachers - P.G. Volokidin and T.B.Fraerman.
In 1937 he was accused of anti-Soviet activities and arrested.
In 1939, the artist was rehabilitated and continued his studies in Kiev.
In 1941, Krylov K.A. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under F.G. Krichevsky.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. Marked with military awards.
Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1945.
Since 1947 K.A. Krylov is a participant in republican and all-union art exhibitions.
He was married to the artist - Taisiya Jaspar.
He worked in the field of easel painting. Master of thematic paintings, portraits and landscapes.
