About the artist: Born on February 27, 1931 in the village of Lokhov, now Transcarpathian region. Husband N. Herz. He graduated from the Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts (1955). Teachers by profession - A. Erdeli, J. Bokshay, F. Manailo. Painter. He worked in the industry of easel and monumental painting, theatrical and decorative art. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1970). People's Artist of Ukraine (2003). He was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (1994). Member of the CPSU. Participated in exhibitions: republican (1957), foreign (1968). Personal - in Uzhgorod (1981, 1991, 2001), in the city of Trebisov (Slovakia, 1990), in Transcarpathia (mobile, 1991), in Kiev (1994), Moscow (2002).
