Description NETSUKE OF A MOTHER WITH HER SON. Japan. Early Meiji period (1868-1912). Ivory, carved and finely engraved, partly stained black and red. On the rattle drum and the back of the boy a stone inlay, probably coral. Underneath denoted: Ryogyoku. W.4cm. Condition A/B. Provenance: German private collection.
