Description A group of two Japanese carved ivory okimono. Meiji Period (1868-1912). ++ An old man with rake. A bearded figure in long robes holding a separately carved rake by his body, looking up with holding an opium pipe. Two character mark on the bottom. 6 1/2" x 2 1/2". ++ An old robed man with a goat, holding a stick in his hands, white beard and hair. An inro hanging on his waist. Goat laid down near his feet. One character mark on the bottom. 5 1/8" x 2 1/4". THIS LOT CONTAINS ANIMAL OR PLANT MATERIAL THAT MAY BE RESTRICTED UNDER FEDERAL, STATE, AND/ OR LOCAL LAW.
