Description A Japanese ivory shrine, two doors hide the statue of the seated Buddha in the inner shrine . Meiji Period (1868-1912). The surface of the shrine painted with black and red pigment, finely carved with floral, phoenix, and dragon. Floral carved on the bottom. Comes with a wooden base. 6 1/2" x 4 15/16" x 4 7/8".
