Description A LOUIS PHILIPPE FLAME MAHOGANY SEMAINIER SECRéTAIRE à ABATTANT, 1840s, with a flat rectangular recessed top above cavetto molding and a faux three drawer drop front, opening to a gilt-tooled leather writing surface before a bird's eye maple lined open compartment with two short drawers and one long drawer, over four drawers centering a keyhole and each trimmed in molding, flanked by side canted corners and raised on a conforming base with shaped block corner feet, includes?two keys. Height: 47 1/4" Width: 23" Depth: 13" Condition Report Overall good condition with a high gloss French polish showing the flame mahogany at its best, some expected age cracks, small marks, light surface scratches, dings, and tiny chips scattered throughout.
