Description A PAIR OF EMPIRE STYLE PATINATED AND GILT BRONZE FOUR-LIGHT SCONCES, 19TH CENTURY, each with a demi-winged classical goddess holding aloft an acanthine urn filled with foliate detailed "S" shaped branches, ending in circular curling tipped leafy bobèches and ovoid nozzles with anthemion banding in shallow relief, drilled for electricity. Condition Report Each in good condition with gold paint overpainting in areas throughout, normal surface buildup, one central branch has green/white encrustation, light wear and each drilled for electricity.
