Description A NAPOLEON III BRONZE LACQUERED METAL SCULPTURE OF CERES, 1850-1875, nicely cast and wearing a diadem of wheat stalks above a billowing cloak, over a corseted torso and apron strung dress suspending a scythe while holding aloft a sheave of wheat, striding on a circular stylized groundwork base and raised on a conforming scalloped plinth, centering clusters of wheat stalks alternating oak leaf and acorn pendants over a waved apron on scrolling feet.
