Description A QING DYNASTY YELLOW GROUND FAMILLE ROSE DRAGON JAR, MARKED, TONGZHI (1862-1874), the parcel gilt bulb finial over a circular lid with three double happiness characters interspersed by bats, the vase with?ballooning shoulders is collared by fluttering bats and double happiness ligatures, whipping flames and?puffy clouds float and auspicious vases ethereally centering?a five clawed Imperial dragon enameled in?iron red,?curling whiskers, his twisting torso with white flaming ridge is covered in gilt dotted scales, a basket of peaches descends from bangles and silks above a pale teal bat with ruyi mushroom carrying peaches and an oval lotus tassel pendant, below impressive colorful lishui waves roll and spray rising mountains, verso a four character red over glaze mark.
