Description A GROUP OF THREE EAST ASIAN THANGKA FRAGMENTS ON WOOD OF BODHISATTVAS, 17TH/18TH CENTURY, mineral pigment and gilt on fabric mounted to?three shaped and painted blocks of wood, a total of six figures, each with elaborately gilt robes and seated on octagonal thrones on splayed feet. 8" x 5 1/8" Provenance: Estate of David E. Condition Report Each figure likely trimmed from a larger old thangka, various losses, darkening of paint, some wear and losses to board and mounting material, but overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
