Description A ROCOCO REVIVAL MARBLE TOPPED GILTWOOD CENTER TABLE, POSSIBLY ITALIAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY, in the Régence taste with a rectangular variegated pink marble top within a cavetto border, above a serpentine frieze centering a blossoming stem flanked by split floral leafy stems and scrolling acanthus in relief, raised on cabriole legs with long haired maiden mask detailed hips and ending as acanthine paw feet, joined by a stylized "X" form stretcher with central curling tipped leaves urn form finial enclosing a later stained wood demi-sphere. Condition Report Good condition with expected gilding wear, small chips, flaking, age cracks, restorations, and surface buildup throughout.
