Description A GEORGE III FLAME MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD, POSSIBLY SCOTTISH, LATE 18TH CENTURY, the undulating breakfront rectangular top with a back short raised platform above a conforming central long drawer and arched corner brackets, flanked by two short drawers above deep square form drawers within two side cellarette drawers and right side centering a butler's hinged door compartment, bordered throughout with boxwood alternating walnut string inlay and drawers partitioned by Neo-Gothic pointed arch reserves enclosing ebony "X" line inlay over tapering squared legs, mounted with gilt brass circular berried laurel wreath handles on octagonal paterae backplates; platform height: 39 3/8"; sideboard height: 37"width: 80 3/4" depth: 32".
