Description JORGE GONZáLEZ CAMARENA (Mexican 1908-1980) A PAINTING, "Mujer Sentado," 1961, oil on canvas, signed and dated L/R. 39 1/4" x 51" Note: Frame with metal tag affixed verso, "Crispin Trapote Decoraciones, Mexico D.F., Mexico." Provenance: Private Collection; Clark's Fine Art Gallery & Auctioneers Inc., Dr. G & the Kaufman Collection, September 22, 2018, lot 18, sold $27,500; Clarks Fine Art Gallery & Auctioneers Inc, Collection of Herb Solow (producer of Star Trek, Mannix, Mission Impossible, etc.), 2004, sold to the aforementioned collection. Condition Report Craquelure throughout, some occasional paint spray,?and overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age.
