Description A LOUIS XV STYLE ORMOLU MOUNTED MAHOGANY TABLE VITRINE, FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY, the inset glazed turtle top with brass trim, over a single bombé glazed cupboard door with like brass trim, opening to an interior fitted with a glazed shelf, within bombé glazed panel sides, above a glazed floor, flanked by chased shell fan chutes, issuing acanthus furl ormolu mounted knee, brass trimmed cabriole legs, ending in acanthi sabots, joined by a serpentine skirt, centering an ormolu mounted Prince of Wales feather plume within acanthus leaf furls. Height: 29" Width: 20 1/4" Depth: 15 5/8" Condition Report There is some abrasive wear, light colored finish spots, occasional ormolu loss, some lifting of the mounts, mild occasional veneer damage, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
