About the artist: Born on January 27, 1937 in the city of Stalingrad, now Volgograd. He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute of Painting, the theater and decorative faculty (1964) Kosareva. Painter, theater artist. Member of the National Union of Artists (1974). He worked as a production designer of the Sumy Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater (1964-66), an artist of the Sumy Art and Production Studio of the Art Fund of Ukraine (1965-1998). Since 1998 - retired. Participated in exhibitions: Republican (1971-1984), All-Union (1983), International (1991, 1999) Celle, (Germany). Personal - 1997 in Sumy. Main works: Painting - “Partisans of Sumy Region” (1975), “After the Battle” (1979), “Three Heroes (S. Kovpak, S. Rudnev, G. Bazym during the partisan raid)” (1983), “First Tractor” (1984), Approaching Autumn (1991), Quiet Evening (1999). Graphics - a series of "Partisans of Sumy Region", "Scouts", "Commander of a company of machine gunners" (1973); In the theater: “Faust and Death” by Levada (scenery sketch, 1972), “A man lives only once” by V.
