From the private collection of a London gentleman; previously with a central Mayfair gallery; by repute the same provenance as an identical example sold at Bonhams, London, 28 October 2009, lot 233; property of an English collector, acquired in 1975; accompanied by a scholarly note TL5331 by Dr Ronald Bonewitz; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no. 10535-171101.
