A good-size ceramic mask with exaggerated smile, beard, fleshy nose, pronounced cheeks and wart, wrinkled lentoid-shaped eyes with piercings to pupils, raised brows, pointed ears, also pierced, and hairline composed of geometric curls; mounted on a custom-made stand. 572 grams total, 21cm including stand (8 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly with the Mahboubian Gallery, London, UK; acquired before 1972. Fine condition, repaired.
