A substantial bright blue glazed composition statuette of a recumbent lion, finely modelled with incised details, the front paws outstretched, the tail curling around the right haunch and lying over the back; mounted on a custom-made wooden display stand, and housed in a custom-made leather display box. 285 grams total, lion: 55mm (box: 11.5 x 7cm) (2 (4 1/2 x 2 3/4)").
