A substantial silver-gilt finger ring with cusped hoop, stepped shoulders with teardrop appliqués, octagonal bezel; each appliqué with hatched field and reserved blackletter 'e' on one shoulder and 'l' (or 'i') on the other; the bezel with central heater shield and reserved lion rampant motif, rim with pointillé border and enigmatic Lombardic legend 'A[.]KAIVSRAKAU'.
