Description Ko-Type Incense Burner of ovoid body with a pair of loop handles beneath a flared rim. Covered with pale glaze of even tone suffused throughout with a network of dense iron-gray crackles. Measures approx. 2 3/4" height x5" width (6.9cm x 12.7cm). Provenance: Professor Wu Jilu's Chinese porcelain collection of Sung & Ming Dynasty ceramics. Retains LEK label. Prof Wu Jilu was a professor in Chinese Literature, and an avidcollector of Chinese porcelain antiques, esp. those with strong Sung Dynasty style & flavor. He had a collection of over 100 items from China?s Sung, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. He had bought most of thosecollections from various antiques shops and small auction houses across the world over the past 25 years. Some his antique collections were auctioned by major auction houses, such as Sotheby?s and China?sGuardian Auction, Hong Kong. Condition Report All lots are sold as is and where is.
