Description Chinese nephrite grayish celadon jade, carved in ovoid body, gently tapered toward waisted neck leading to banded rim, supported the domed lid with simply bud finial. Two scrolling foliate ears emerged from the collar. The main decoration decorated in high relief of two double tailed PiXiu in pursuit of flaming pearls. The jade shows masterly carving, with deep relief, fine polished, and moist milky appearance.
