Description Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, DaoGuang ruby red bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with slight flaring opening lip, raised on a small round, with concave footing. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in white under glazed ruby red color, depicted with abundant bamboo tree and dense leaves surround the surface. The red color of the packet symbolizes good luck, corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. Red is found everywhere during Chinese New Year and other holiday celebrations and family gatherings. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, DaoGuang Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
