Description Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, QianLong gourd shaped porcelain vase. The porcelain potted in thick and compact, globular ovoid body, tapered gracefully toward straight close mouth rim, with pumpkin sides shape, raised on a small round foot base. Decorated in Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale-turquoise- pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
