Description Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, JiaQing lotus wucai bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with a straight opening lip, raised on a small round, with concave footing. The exterior decorated by applying of wucai design color, a variety of five-colored pigments creates bold opaque hand-painting of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and tendril among dense of floral diaper surrounding Bajixiang symbols inside ruyi shaped cartouches, all in vivid tones colors. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. Mark on under base, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, JiaQing Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
