Description Lustrous monochrome Sky Blue skillfully glazed Meiping vase. Chinese porcelain shaped into a voluptuous form, with a narrow base, wide body, narrow neck, and a small opening. The exterior is uniformly coated in a beautiful monochrome blue glaze that shows an even thickness throughout. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the polished exterior. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
