One vase depicting on one side Aurora and Apollo after Guido Reni's fresco in the Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi in Rome (1614) and on the other side Diana killing Actaeon. The second vase, Mercury falling in love with Herse, after Jan Boekhorst's painting in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna (canvas, 118 x 178.5 cm, inv. GG_379), and a firelight dance with twelve nymphs by the water. Underneath the bases German title of each depicted scene.
Description FRPaire de vases avec couvercles. Vienne, période Franz D?rfl, 1878-1930. Peinte de scènes mythologiques d'après les métamorphoses d’Ovide. Le premier représente d'un c?té Aurora et Apollon d'après la fresque de Guido Reni au Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi à Rome (1614) et de l'autre Diane tuant Actéon, tandis que le deuxième vase figure Mercure tombant amoureux de Herse, d'après le tableau de Jan Boekhorst au Kunsthistorisches Museum de Vienne (toile, 118 x 178.5 cm, inv. GG_379), et une danse de douze nymphes au bord de l'eau. Aux revers des bases les titres en allemand des scènes figurées.

Paar eivormige gedekte vazen op voet. Deels goud gehoogd Weens porselein van de firma Franz D?rfl (actief 1878 - ca. 1930). Op de buik een rondom beschilderd decor van mythologische scenes. Eén vaas met vooraan van Aurora en Apollo naar Guido Reni's fresco in het Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi in Rome (1614), achteraan Diana en Actaeon bij het water. Op de andere vaas vooraan Mercurius die verliefd wordt op Herse naar Jan Boekhorst's schilderij in het Kunsthistorisches museum in Wenen (doek, 118 x 178.5 cm, inv. GG_379) en achteraan van een vuurlichtendans met twaalf nimfen bij het water. Onderaan voet telkens Duitse titel met nummer.
